Pestman Trap for Agricultural Pests (Hereinafter called Trap)
Based on the visual principle of agricultural pests, Trap has developped the special UV lights with some different spectrums, which is very effectively on luring different kinds and age stages agricultural pests. Meanwhile we have developped the special broad-spectrum attractants for Trap considering nutritional requirements for the different age stages of agricultural pests, and the efficiency of Trap has been greatly improved with our special attractants. With the double lure of special UV lights and attractants, the variety agricultural pests will fly around the Trap, and they will be blew into the storing bag by the fan of Trap. With the escape-proof device, the agricultural pests will be died in the storing bag due to dehydration and hunger. Trap can be used in open field and greenhouse with electric power.
From our trials in China in the past five years, we are very proud to inform you that Trap is very effectively on trapping mostly agricultural pests for different crops and fruits, such as: Vegetables, Tea, Tobacco, Cotton, Maize, Rice, Blueberry, Cherry, Strawberry, Grape, etc. After using Trap, the farmers will not use pesticides or use very less pesticides. Trap bring you green and organic agriculture.
Trap also can be used in Forestry (Seedlings base, Orchard, Fast-growing forest base), Animal Husbandry (Poultry farms, Pig and Dairy farms, etc.), Public Garden, Public Green Area, Factory Greenery, Outdoor Leisure Venues, Underground Parking Garage, Warehouse, etc.
Attentions:
1) Please start using Trap 3-5 days before the agricultural insects appear.
2) Please use Trap from 7:00p.m. to 5:00a.m. in the next morning. We can install intelligent power controller for you if you need.
3) We suggest you to put one Trap every 60-100 metres if the insect density is high, and put one Trap every 120-200 metres if the insect density is low.
4) When installing Trap, the UV light should 20-30 cm higher than the top of crops to achieve good efficiency. If you install Trap in Orchard, the UV light should be 120 cm away from the ground. and not let the leaves to shade the light source.
5) Please regularly inspect the escape-proof device and insect network channel to avoid the insects jam at the entrance.
6) Please clean the insect storing bag when the dead insect bodies occupy more than 80% volumn of the storing bag. You had better not clean the bag before this.
